Nature Studies: Leaves

There is a quiet strength in the structure of a leaf. This series is a study of those patterns - from the vibrant, living greenery of a fresh leaf to the intricate, lace-like 'skeletons' that remain after a season has passed.

I am particularly drawn to skeleton leaves because they reveal the delicate architecture that usually stays hidden. Whether it is the bold veins of a new leaf or the fragile, fossil like remains from an old one, these prints are about noticing the small details in nature's design.
